Marietta Fascia & Soffit Renewal
This construction services project in Marietta, GA restored structural integrity and exterior protection to the home through targeted fascia and soffit repairs. The project addressed rotted and deteriorated wood areas, improved long-term durability, and ensured the home remained properly protected against moisture intrusion and exterior wear.
Project Overview
During an inspection, multiple areas of deteriorated and rotted fascia and soffit were identified around the home, including sections over the back deck, near the HVAC unit, and along the front entry. These compromised areas posed a risk for continued moisture damage and potential structural issues if left unaddressed. Targeted carpentry repairs were recommended to restore proper support, protection, and appearance.
Results
The completed carpentry repairs restored the home’s exterior integrity and improved overall durability. Rotted fascia boards were removed and replaced with new wood secured directly to rafter tails, while damaged soffit sections were replaced to reestablish proper enclosure and airflow. All new materials were sealed, primed, and painted using homeowner-provided paint, resulting in a clean, uniform finish that blended seamlessly with the existing exterior. The repairs now provide long-term protection against moisture and future deterioration.
